On April 5, 2024, BENZ GmbH Werkzeugsysteme (BENZ Tooling), a leading manufacturer of tooling systems and part of the Dürr mechanical and plant engineering group, celebrated the traditional roofing ceremony for the new campus in Gengenbach.
The milestone in the ONEnewBENZ construction project was celebrated together with builders, planners and stakeholders.
The relocation from the current location in Haslach to the modern and future-oriented production and office complex is expected to take place in fall 2024. This is the largest investment in BENZ's company history.
The completion of the building shell in Kinzigpark was marked with the ceremonial hanging of the topping-out wreath. Construction work began in September 2023. Once the ground work had been completed, the general contractor LIST Bau, based in Bietigheim-Bissingen, was able to initiate further measures. The new building was planned by the architectural firm w : architekten from Freudenstadt.
"The new premises are a milestone in the history of BENZ. This forward-looking investment underlines our conviction in the company's growth potential and the outstanding expertise of our employees in the tooling business.
The new building will create a state-of-the-art working environment that promotes innovation. At the same time, we are creating the conditions for BENZ to operate with maximum efficiency on the market."
Dietmar Heinrich, Chief Financial Officer Dürr-Gruppe
BENZ Tooling is part of the Dürr Group's Industrial Automation Systems division.
