For us, social engagement isn’t just a theoretical concept—it’s part of our everyday lives. Our project shows just how much we can accomplish when we roll up our sleeves and work together. On June 25, we had a very special event on the agenda: the annual inventory and cleaning day at the Hornberg food bank.
We got to work with plenty of good spirits and great dedication. The BENZ team and Club82 joined forces again this year with a mission: to turn everything upside down! Together, we completely cleared out all the shelves and cleaned them thoroughly. Every item was carefully inspected and set aside if it was no longer saleable. In the end, all the products were neatly and clearly restocked.
The highlight of the event was the success of our donation drive. Hygiene products are in very short supply at food banks and are rarely donated. Before we started, this section looked correspondingly empty—barely half a shelf was filled. Thanks to the overwhelming support, by the end the entire shelf was barely enough to hold all the urgently needed products. Henriette Haas from the food bank was overjoyed, as these items make a real difference in the daily lives of those in need.
