The joint initiative by Gengenbach-based company BENZ Tooling and Club 82 e.V. from Haslach is supporting the Week of Poverty with homemade salads and muffins.
This year, the “We for you" project run by the Gengenbach-based company BENZ Tooling and Club 82 e.V. from Haslach once again took part in the charity dinner organized by Caritasverband Kinzigtal e.V. during the Week of Poverty. With great dedication, around 250 portions of salad were prepared and over 100 muffins were baked, which were distributed on the days of the event in Wolfach and Haslach.
Members of the association, BENZ Tooling employees, and their children gathered at the Club 82 premises to prepare the food for the two charity events. In addition to the muffins baked by the BENZ staff, more muffins were made on site—a joint sign of solidarity and helpfulness.
“We are delighted to be able to support the Caritas Association again this year with our contribution,” says Dunja Bruckner, project manager at BENZ Tooling. “It's especially great that our employees' children also enthusiastically help out every year, giving them practical experience of social responsibility.”
The annual participation in the charity dinner has become an integral part of the “We for you" project, which promotes local initiatives and strengthens community spirit. The entire team would like to express its sincere thanks to all the helpers for their commitment and great cooperation
The Club 82 association and BENZ Tooling are working together on the "Wir für euch" project to bring people with and without disabilities together in voluntary work. The project, which was initiated in 2015, supports people in need and social institutions in the Haslach area in several annual campaigns.
