"We for you – Involved with and without disabilities" is a joint project of Club 82 – Der Freizeitclub e.V. and the Haslach-based company BENZ Tooling.
For years, members of Club 82 and BENZ Tooling employees have been supporting social institutions and people in the region with their voluntary work as part of the project.
At the end of 2023, the project team met for a small celebration. Together with the CEOs Martin Schreiber (BENZ Tooling) and Helmut Walther (Club 82), the participants looked back on the past year.
In April, they were guests at the Hornberg food bank and lent a hand with a major spring cleaning campaign.
The customers of the food bank were delighted to receive a large selection of hygiene articles donated by the employees and members of Club 82 and BENZ Tooling.
Together, we prepared salads and baked muffins in October to support the Caritas Kinzigtal charity dinner.
The project team was very happy to be able to make a major contribution to the charity dinners in Haslach and Wolfach with 220 portions of salad and almost 300 muffins.
This year's Christmas campaign brought a little joy to people in need. The Guglhupf restaurant in Offenburg opened its doors on Christmas Eve for the 5th time exclusively for people in need.
"We for you " packed Christmas presents for each of the expected 100 visitors, which were donated by the club members and employees of BENZ Tooling. In addition, a donation of €300 was made to support financing the Christmas menu.
