Activism, hand-in-hand:

A positive summary after a year full of activities

Happy faces prevailed at the donation hand-over from BENZ to Club 82. Together, folks have been getting involved with the project 'We for you' for one year, which enables people with and without disabilities to perform voluntary activities. "In 2016, Club 82 members and BENZ employees put together great initiatives, which benefited others," said Club 82 project manager Beate Schwab. "In the springtime, we supported the Hornberger food bank with a donation of personal care supplies as well as a cleaning job, and in the summer, the families in the refugee village were happy to participate in an afternoon of games." BENZ Managing Director Marco Huber also finds the collaborative effort to be a wonderful thing. "As a company, we are not only financially involved, but each of our employees is able to contribute personally." Currently, Christmas items for Christmas tote bags are being collected, which are to be donated to the children and families who shop at the Hornberger food bank. The first activity of 2017 is already in planning.
